RAM sets how much world stays loaded. 2 GB runs vanilla for a few friends; 8 GB and 16 GB hold modpacks and busy builds. Worlds and backups sit on NVMe storage.
Edit server.properties in the browser: the seed, the difficulty, view-distance, the whitelist, and PvP. Drop plugins into plugins/ and mods into mods/ with the file manager or SFTP, then restart from the console.
Schedule backups in the Game Panel and restore a world from before the creeper reached the base. Sub-users get their own logins, so nobody shares a password.
