How do I get pricing or a quote for colocation?
Open a ticket with our sales team and include your rack unit count, expected power draw, port speed (1Gbps or 10Gbps), preferred billing model (flat-rate or 95th percentile), and any IP space requirements. An engineer, not a sales script, builds a line-item quote for your exact deployment.
How much rack space can I get?
We quote from a single 1U up to 10U slots, with quarter and half rack footprints subject to availability. We deliberately run a compact floor rather than acres of empty cages, so larger footprints are handled case by case: ask, and we will give you a straight answer about what we can commit to.
How does 95th percentile billing work?
We sample your port utilization every 5 minutes across the month, sort the samples, and discard the top 5%. The highest remaining value is your billable rate, measured against your committed baseline. In practice, roughly 36 hours of your heaviest traffic each month is free burst headroom, which makes it ideal for spiky workloads.
Should I pick flat-rate or 95th percentile?
If you push steady traffic around the clock or just want one predictable number, take the flat-rate port. If your traffic is bursty, a 95th percentile commit usually costs less for the same peak performance. Send us 30 days of traffic graphs with your quote request and we will run the numbers both ways for you.
What power options do you offer?
Our standard drop is 208V single-phase on 20A circuits, delivered as independent A+B feeds for dual-PSU hardware, with metered per-amp commitments. Custom power configurations are available on request. Everything is backed by N+1 UPS systems and on-site diesel generators.
Can I ship my hardware directly to your data center?
Yes. Ship pre-racked or packaged hardware straight to the facility with your configuration notes. Our engineers receive, unbox, inventory, rack, cable, and connect power and network according to your specifications, then confirm the handoff with you before anything goes live.
Do customers have physical access to the data center floor?
No. To maintain maximum security and cabling integrity, our certified engineering team handles all hardware installation, maintenance, and replacements on your behalf, 24/7. It is how we keep every cabinet clean, auditable, and locked.
Can I bring my own IPv4/IPv6 space?
Yes. We announce your ARIN or RIPE prefixes from our multi-homed network on your behalf, or provide routed IPv4 and IPv6 subnets from our space. We do not hand out customer-run BGP sessions by default; if your deployment genuinely needs one, raise it in your quote ticket and we will talk it through.
Can I get a dedicated connection to Lumen or the Seattle Internet Exchange?
Yes, as an option. Through our location we can provision dedicated Lumen transit or a dedicated Seattle Internet Exchange (SIX) connection for your deployment. These are engineered and quoted case by case, so mention it in your quote request.
What is included in Remote Hands service?
Remote Hands covers hardware diagnostics, drive and RAM swaps, PCIe card installations, power cycles, cable tracing and labeling, and temporary KVM over IP mounting. Since our engineers are already managing the floor, response times are measured in minutes, not site-visit appointments.
What SLA do you offer on colocation?
Colocation carries our credit-backed 99.9% network uptime SLA, with A+B redundant power and 24/7 monitoring behind it. If we miss it, you get credited. No lawyer-proof loopholes.
