Sized by crew. The player number is what stays smooth on that memory, not a cap; Enshrouded itself allows 16. Upgrade from the Console if you outgrow one.

Check your ping to our Seattle rack.

Measured from this browser: one HTTPS round trip to the datacenter your server would run in. Under 40 ms plays like a local machine; under 80 ms is smooth for every game here.

Everything a Enshrouded server needs. Nothing to add on.

Invite the whole crew

Warden suits 4, Flamebreaker 8, Mythic 16: recommendations, not caps we enforce.

Online in under 3 minutes

Checkout to a running server, automatically. Set role passwords and it lists in the in-game browser.

enshrouded_server.json, yours

Role passwords, the difficulty preset, day length, enemy damage: edit, restart, done.

Backups you can restore

Schedule them from the Backups tab and roll savegame/ back in one click.

Live console and SFTP

Watch the log, stop cleanly so the last save lands, and reach every file from your own client.

No noisy neighbors

Your node stops taking servers at 60% load; the cap and the policy are published on Receipts.

99.9%, credit-backed

If the network misses it, the credit is issued without you asking.

Engineers who answer

Tickets go to the people who run the nodes, not to a script.

Why the hardware matters for Enshrouded

Enshrouded pushes the whole crew at once. Shroud runs are on a timer, bases grow block by block, and 16 players share one map. That pushes CPU and memory together. Your server runs on AMD EPYC 4565P at 4.5 GHz, on a node we stop filling at 60% load. Somebody else's game night cannot slow yours.

Memory is sized to the crew: 4 GB on Warden, 6 GB on Flamebreaker, 10 GB on Mythic. Saves and world data sit on NVMe storage, so a big base loads instead of stalling. The clock and the cap are published on Receipts, with the benchmark run behind them.
Game Panel file manager

Your rules, your files

Stop the server, edit enshrouded_server.json in the file manager, restart. Role passwords, the difficulty preset, and the Custom gameSettings block are yours. The common values are mirrored on the Startup tab, so pick one place to edit them. Invalid JSON stops the server, so validate before you restart.

Backups run on a schedule from the Backups tab and restore in one click. The Game Panel console streams the log live, and a clean stop lets the last save finish. SFTP gives you the whole tree from your own client.

Straight Answers, before you ask.

3 guides from the knowledge base, written by the engineers on shift.

Questions people ask first.

About running Enshrouded here.

Explore the knowledge base or open a ticket in the Console. An engineer answers.

Is "16 players" a cap?
No. It is the group Mythic stays smooth at on 10 GB; Warden suits 4 and Flamebreaker 8. Enshrouded itself allows up to 16 per server. If it starts to feel it, upgrade and keep the world.
Can I run mods?
Enshrouded has no official mod support on dedicated servers, so we do not claim it. You get full file access and the Custom preset in enshrouded_server.json: player health, stamina, enemy damage, day length.
How fast is it online?
Under 3 minutes from checkout. Open the Game Panel from the Console and set your role passwords in enshrouded_server.json. The server lists itself in the in-game browser once it is up.
Can I change the difficulty or the world later?
Yes. Stop the server, edit enshrouded_server.json in the file manager, restart. Presets are Default, Relaxed, Hard, Survival, or Custom; the common values are also on the Startup tab. Take a backup first; the world lives in savegame/.
Can I upgrade later without losing the world?
Yes. In the Console, open the service, choose Upgrade/Downgrade, and pay the prorated difference for the rest of the cycle. The new size applies after a restart; your world and enshrouded_server.json come with it.
What about refunds, and where does it run?
New servers carry the 30-day money-back guarantee: cancel in the Console within 30 days for a full refund. After that, refunds are prorated at our discretion and requested within 72 hours of a charge. Seattle, on racks we own, built for Pacific Northwest latency; route published on the datacenter page.
