Data Center Migration

March 6th - March 7th, 2026

Information regarding the upcoming move to our new Lumen Seattle 1 facility.

What is happening?

On Friday, March 6, 2026, at 11PM PST (2AM EST, 7AM UTC), we will be doing a full data center move related to all NoBull Network services. We expect to complete this activity by Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 3AM PST (6AM EST, 11AM UTC) (4 hours).

During this activity you should expect degraded services to times of service outage (1 hour+) for your services as well as NoBull Networks portals and websites.

What you need to do to prepare:

Your services will have to be migrated physically from the current location to the new location. The trip is approximately 24.5 miles (39.4 kilometers) and would take an average of around 30 minutes of driving time.

  • You should prepare similar maintenance windows with your customer base, if required.
  • Prepare "gone fishing" pages and enable caching of your site, if possible, through a service like Cloudflare.
  • You should also ensure your monitoring, if you are using any services, have an appropriately scheduled maintenance window.

Additional Information

The purpose of this event is to migrate all our customer data and equipment out of our current data center facility that is shutting down at the end of March 2026. The current facility operated by Cogent Communications was unable to extend its lease after the building was sold to a new owner.

We spent the end of 2025 searching and evaluating new facilities and choosing a new facility that has a long-term lease, our initial lease commitment is three years, and will provide excellent changes in connectivity options, security, and expansion abilities.

Our new location is the former Seattle Times building located at 1000 Denny Way in Seattle, WA. This site is a critical hub for internet connectivity in the Pacific Northwest and to ASIA pacific. This Tier III Data Center design supports Fortune 500 requirements with on-site security 24/7 and an amazing amount of connectivity options (40+), and access to the Seattle Internet Exchange for peering. We'll provide additional details once we get through our migration.

We'll provide detailed information on our socials and technical support throughout the process. Our commitment is to minimize disruption as much as possible.

Need Help?

Our support team is standing by to answer any questions about the move. We know this is a big change, and we're here to make it as smooth as possible.

The Bottom Line

Forced migrations aren't ideal, but we've made the best of the situation. The new facility offers better connectivity, more redundancy, and enterprise-grade infrastructure. Your services will be more reliable, and we're maintaining the same pricing and service level you're used to.

We appreciate your patience during this transition.

All Power, Zero Bull,
The NoBull Networks Team
